ADDITIONAL INFO

Festival Rules
1. All matches will be 4 chukkas x 6 minutes running time.
2. Starting times for matches run strictly according to the match programme and the table will adapt rest times to end matches 1minute before the next match is scheduled to commence.
3. All decisions of the referees are final and may only be overruled by the festival organiser, after consultation with parties involved.
4. Points will be allocated as follows: win - 3 points, draw - 1 point, loss - 0 .
5. If there is a no show, the team present will be awarded a win. (5 - 0)
6. Teams are allowed 1 time-out per match.
7. Teams must provide a referee for the match following theirs.
8. Coaches must nominate the top players form their opposing team immediately after their match before they referee. (with the table.)
9. Only stayers, thus U17, who will still be in school next year may take part in the festival. (teams who contravene this ruling will loose their match 0 – 5)
10. First aid will be available but coaches have to take care of their players in case of serious injury.
11. Only players are to be on pool-deck level during matches.
12. Rest times in between chukkas will be 1 minute long.
13. FINA rules will apply with the exception to the rule changes in this document.
14. The teams which place 1st, 2nd and 3rd on points will receive medals.
15. The Players selected for the tournament Teams will receive a certificate and Medal
16. The festival fee is R30 per player and must be paid on or before arrival.
17. Prego rolls, boerie-rolls and cool drinks will be on sale.
